My HP Pavilion Power - 15-cb022nl do not fit per win 11. Is 2 years old and more expensive than other. There is non information about that. Shoud be in the future compatible or not. If I had choose a less expensive now I have the opportunity to upgrade to win 11. I have one home.

You're very welcome.
Only time will tell if Microsoft will relent and allow all Intel 7th gen core processors into the Windows 11 'club.'
After I read that waring notice, I allowed the update to Windows 11 to proceed, and got the updates that had been missing.
With the clean install, you do not receive any warnings, and I also got the updates and checked them against another HP notebook I have that is running W11 and is fully supported to do so. They both got the same updates.
I can't say that will happen all the time, but it did this time.
I also don't know what is going to happen when the next update to W11 comes out in October of 2022.
Will we be allowed to upgrade, or will we have to clean install W11 every year? That I do not know.

Hi:
Below is the link to the product specs for your notebook.
HP Pavilion Power - 15-cb022nl Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support
The Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ processor does not meet the requirements for the in-place upgrade to W11.
A PC not meeting all of the W11 hardware requirements does not necessarily mean you can't install W11 on your PC.
You can read the info at the link below for how to bypass the W11 hardware checks if you want to install W11 on your notebook.

All the case suggested do not provide processor error. All other need match win 11 requirement for my pc. So also the regestry change should be not work. There are no workaround for processor that do not match win 11 specification. Hard to try. It's a blind try. In the other case seems suggestions ok.

If you use the W11 media creation tool to make a bootable USB installer, and clean install W10, it only checks the memory, secure boot and TPM presence. It does not check the processor compatibility during a clean install.
I just installed W11 on a HP 350 G1 business class notebook with an Intel i3 4th gen processor and no TPM.
I had to use the registry tweaks because it failed the TPM check.
I installed W11 on two other HP PC's (a Stream Pro 11 G4 with an unsupported processor and it installed just fine.
The same for a HP 8200 Elite CMT business desktop with a 2nd generation i7-2600 processor.
All worked fine.
You can see this discussion at the link below. As long as you are willing to clean install W11 on your notebook, it will work just fine.

Hi gain:
Here is an update...
This recent article shows you how do do a registry edit to do an in-place upgrade to W11 when your PC has an unsupported processor...
How to Bypass TPM and CPU Requirements for Windows 11 Upgrade on Unsupported PC - HELLPC
Restart the PC after you make the registry edit.
You can immediately upgrade to W11 if you make the bootable W11 USB installation media.
Plug the flash drive in your PC's USB port.
Run the setup application in Windows. See this screenshot...
In a few moments, you should get this screen, and you will be all set.
No need for a clean install.
This is run from a Dell Optiplex 7020 desktop PC with an i5-4590 processor and a TPM 1.2 chip.

Yes seems to work. I choose a more expensive laptop i7 and not i5 that now fit for win 11 (...). I'll take time to try it. Thanks for the solution provided that propsecy an upgrade not a clean installation (more non compex but you know alla files, sw, ...).
Do you yhonk in the future my Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU 2.80 GHz (not to bad as you can see, better a compettive one) will be supported? Can HP do nothing about?

"This PC doesn't meet the minimum system requirements for running Windows 11 - these requirements help ensure a more reliable and higher quality experience. Installing Windows 11 on this PC is not recommended and may result in compatibility issues. If you proceed with installing Windows 11, your PC will no longer be supported and won't be entitled to receive updates. Damages to your PC due to lack of compatibility aren't covered under the manufacturer warranty."
Not to be done I u ndestand.
