HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15 BIOS update issue

Hello everyone,

Today I tried to update my bios, but it didn't work. I have BIOS version F05 and try to upgrade it to F06. But when i start InsydeFlash and clicking flash, my laptop freezes and the coolers spin up to maximum speed. When i try to reboot and open bios, my version still the same F05 version.

And i even tried to install update of newest version, via usb flash, but it's freeze on 2% too

Can you help me please?

I can't find the BIOS version you indicate, the most recent is the following one.

My recommendation if you do not have problems with the BIOS, do not upgrade, you may damage the BIOS and your laptop will no longer work, it will be a piece of decoration.

Unfortunately, i have problems with a bios, more precisely, with Intel Management Engine. I read on the forums that when flashing/updating the BIOS, the problem with Intel ME goes away.

Also, I tried the version you posted, via usb, but updating freeze on 2%.

The Intel Manager Driver is at the following link. If you are not updating the BIOS, I recommend you not to insist that may be due to other problems you have in your computer but not in the BIOS. When the BIOS fails, the laptop stops working.

Yep, i have an error: this system does not meet the minimum requirements for software installation

see in the device manager which drivers are not recognized, the drivers that I give you are for windows 8, do not install if you have windows 10

In Device Manager I only have one unrecognized device: PCI-device. And i used ubuntu to check my Intel ME but it doesn't appear, so it's hardware or bios problem. Also i use Windows 8

Ubuntu if I do not use the drivers will not see it. 

Under unrecognized driver click on detail and select the hardware ID and copy it over here.

What is wrong with the laptop ?

I checked, it's my cardreader.

I need Intel ME, because I coding different software. Also, I want to try hackintosh and find out what macos and xcode are. That's why I really need working Intel ME.
