Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
For your HP Pavilion dv7-1015el, HP unfortunately no longer provides the original recovery partition or media directly — that model is over a decade old (Vista-era), and HP’s OEM recovery sets are typically only available for 5–7 years after release.
Here’s what you can do:
What the “original” system was
The dv7-1015el originally shipped with:
Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit (Italian in your case, since it’s the “el” model sold in Italy)
HP’s preinstalled software suite (HP QuickPlay, HP Advisor, CyberLink DVD, etc.)
Recovery partition (D:) with HP Recovery Manager
Options to get recovery media
Third-party recovery media vendors
Websites like ComputerSurgeons or RestoreDisks.com specialize in OEM recovery DVDs for discontinued models.
You’ll need your exact model number and country/region to get the correct image.
These are usually official HP recovery images from that era.
eBay / local classifieds
Search for “HP dv7-1015el recovery DVD” or “HP dv7-1000 recovery discs Vista” — sometimes people sell the original disc sets.
Community archives
Some retro PC forums or archival projects host HP Vista recovery ISOs for older laptops (you’d need to verify authenticity and legality in your country before downloading).
If you can’t find the OEM set
You can still:
Install a clean Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit ISO (Italian) from Microsoft’s digital archives or reputable mirrors.
Use your COA sticker’s product key (should be under the laptop battery or on the bottom panel).
Download the original drivers & utilities from HP’s support page for dv7-1015el — they still host chipset, graphics, audio, QuickLaunch buttons, etc.
Important: If you want exact factory look & software, only the HP Recovery discs will do.
If you just want the laptop working as new, a clean Vista install + HP drivers will get you 95% there (minus the trialware).
If you want, I can track down a still-available original HP recovery DVD set for the dv7-1015el that ships to Italy — I just need to check active suppliers.

Okay, no problem. Since we are already here, I found a customized ISO of Windows Vista by HP, but it is not the original system, and now I'm using this one and I will keep it until the end of the PC's life, which is already very old. Now I was asking if it is possible to speed up this currently installed system (Windows Vista 32bit HP OEM). Even though it's not the original, is there a way to speed it up? (All HP drivers are downloaded), and thanks again for the support.

Absolutely—I'm glad to hear you're keeping the HP Pavilion dv7-1015el running! Even with an older system like Windows Vista (32-bit), there are still several effective ways to improve performance without needing to change the OS or hardware drastically.
Here are some targeted tips to optimize your current Vista setup:
How to Speed Up Your HP Pavilion dv7 (Windows Vista 32-bit)
Disable Startup Programs
Run msconfig, go to Startup tab, and uncheck unnecessary programs to speed up boot time.
Run Disk Cleanup
Use Disk Cleanup (Start > Accessories > System Tools) to remove temporary files and system junk.
Defragment Your Hard Drive
Use Disk Defragmenter to optimize file access (skip if you have an SSD).
Increase RAM
Upgrade RAM to 4 GB if possible (Vista 32-bit supports up to ~4GB).
Turn Off Aero and Visual Effects
Switch to Windows Vista Basic or Standard theme and adjust performance settings for best performance.
Uninstall Unused Programs
Remove unnecessary software via Control Panel > Programs and Features.
Disable Unneeded Services
Carefully disable services you don’t use via services.msc (e.g., Windows Search).
Use Lightweight Software
Choose lightweight browsers (Opera 36, Mypal) and antivirus (Microsoft Security Essentials for Vista).
Keep Drivers Stable
Use the current HP drivers; avoid forced updates unless needed for stability.
Maintain Hardware
Clean fans and vents regularly to prevent overheating and slowdowns.
Final Tip:
Regularly clean the fan and vents to keep heat down—thermal throttling can also slow down performance.
You're doing a great job keeping this classic machine alive!
