Sorry if in the wrong board but: My HP Pavilion laptop isn’t letting me input my PIN or password. It turns on, I can click enter or tap the screen and it will take me to the sign in page. I go to type my PIN in with the keyboard but nothing is inputted in to the box, the curser just keeps blinking at me. I tried clicking on the screen to get the onscreen keyboard, which it does bring up. I can click on the numbers for my PIN but nothing appears in the box (terrible way of explaining this but you can tell the numbers are being “recognised” since when you click on them they turn from grey to white to grey again). The same happens with the password. The mouse pointer moves as it should.

I’ve tried shutting it down, restarting it, a mix of both, leaving it off for awhile and apart from a full reset I can’t think of anything else but I’m hoping there’s another option since I have some documents I need that I stupidly haven’t saved to my onedrive. Any advice I am extremely grateful for! (Very annoyed at all this, I use to program for a living but since a really bad bout of health issues including strokes I can’t think clearly at all. 2 years ago I wouldn’t of needed help and if I did I wouldn’t sound like a 12yr old explaining things, so I apologise for my lack of proper terminology.)
