HP Pavilion zd8000 Drivers

Hi all,

I recently found a 2005 HP Pavilion zd8000 in a box. I want to reinstall Windows as it is a quite cluttered installation. I was wondering where I could download drivers for it, as I see that you have taken them off of the official HP website.

SPECS:

Intel Pentium 4 640

ATI Radeon x600 

1GB DDR2

100GB Toshiba IDE HDD

Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005

You're very welcome.

You would have to pay for recovery media from this non- HP vendor at the link below.

You have to make sure you buy the kit that matches your zd8000's product number.

If it has a different product number than what you see in the link above, enter the product number of your notebook in the search window, and hopefully they have a recovery kit for your notebook too.

I just went to download the drivers from the designated website, but the download part itself appears not to work. Is there a different reputable source of drivers for this machine?

Hi:

The downloads on that link work fine for me.

The problem is that they are http and not https, so W10 is blocking them from downloading.

See these screenshots for how to get around the problem.

I'm going to provide screenshots for the first one listed...the BIOS update--sp3153725.exe.

When you click on the file you get this...cannot be downloaded securely.

You click on the 3 dots next to the trash can icon. Select 'Keep.'

Then click on the Keep anyway button, and the file will download.
