Hi,

Well from the picture the noise could be coming from anywhere I guess

Is the sound continuous or just when you physically open the notebook

It could be a hinge problem.

You could also just describe where the noise is coming from. What area of the PC

an the model number

The Sound only happens when I physically open the notebook like you said it might be a hinge problem the sound is coming from the back of the PC where the hinge is located I think at least

I think this is the model number

HP Pavilion - 15-cs3003ca

if not let me know

Thanks

OK

Is the notebook still under warranty? You could contact HP directly if under warranty.

If the hinge problem and not under warranty you could take it to your local PC repair shop and see if the situation can be adjusted and naturally be careful when opening and closing.

David
