Hello HP.
Since a 2 days my Laptop doesnt shutdown properly.
A few Weeks ago i build in a hdd 240GB wich works fine so i dont think that could be a Problem.(or could it?)
I tried reinstalling, fresh Windows 10 but that didnt work.
I also found out that after the fresh installation the first shutdown works "fine" (a bit slower than a week ago, but it shut down). But after booting up fidling with explorer a bit and shuting it down it seemed it was back in this "I Dont Shutdown" thing.
I mean everything seems to turn off except the Power Button lights (green), Screen turns off, i can hear the HDD stops spinning. Feels like everything is off except the Powerlight.
Also i should mention that at no point i installed Software, changed Systemfiles or Deleted something
I also did a msconfig check and it said that everything seems fine.

It might not be the following - it only takes a few minutes to check.
Try / Consider
General - Connection
First, Restart everything, including the router.
Check the router logs - make sure your computer is connected to the SSID / network that you expect and that the bandwidth (if wireless) is correct for the hardware.
================================================================
Switch off / on Fast Start
Settings > System > Power and Sleep > Additional Power Settings >
Choose what the power button does >
Click Change settings that are currently unavailable >
Remove Check (clear box) Turn on fast startup (recommended) >
Save
Close programs (browsers, games, email, etc) and close any open windows
Windows key + X + A (opens Cmd prompt as Admin)
When the command window opens, type / paste the following command and hit Enter:
shutdown /s /t 0
- Wait for the computer to shut down completely (a few seconds)
- Boot the computer > Log in > Wait around for a couple of minutes (yes, wait, do not rush) >
- Try shutting down the notebook from Windows key > Power
Optional > Switch ON the fast startup setting
Dragon-Fur NOTE:
- Business Notebooks > Fast Boot setup may be enabled / disabled in the BIOS
Shut down the workstation > Power on, immediately tap-tap-tap F10 to enter the BIOS >
Advanced > Boot Options >
Check / Uncheck Fast boot > Save and exit

Task Manager / Resource Monitor
Another place to check - you have likely done this -
Check what is running just before you are ready to shut down the system.
Use the Task Manager to give a "one over" to which applications are still running, for example, and check the performance and details tabs. Sort by CPU (for example) to see if anything sticks out as a resource hog.
Check to see if anything that you think should Not be running is still hanging around in the process lists.

and / or
Check to see whether the Reliability Report can tell you anything interesting.
Reliability Report
Although this cool reporting tool has been around for quite a while, it might be overlooked because it is hiding in an unlikely spot in the Operating System.
Windows 7:
Control Panel > set icon view > Action Center
Windows 10:
Control Panel > set icon view > Security and Maintenance >
Under Maintenance > Open the Drop Down Menu >> Click on View Reliability Report
Method to start the Reliability Report software using Command Prompt
Open Admin cmd prompt
Windows key + X + (then) A
Type the command, followed by the "Enter" key
perfmon /rel
________________________________________________________________
Create Reliability Report Shortcut:
Navigate to C:\Windows\System32
Right-Click perfmon.exe > Send to Desktop
Right-Click on shortcut in Desktop > Properties >
Add “ /rel” to target line (space in front of /rel):
Target (path) = C:\Windows\System32\perfmon.exe /rel
Tab General > Change name as desired
OK

If you are sure the hardware is healthy and working together as expected,
then I would guess you want to reload Windows again.
Assuming the system ever did shut down properly after the addition of the new HDD, then "something" appears to have changed.
Run the hardware tests to make sure the hardware is still working as expected - adding the drive should not have upset the entire component stack but maybe it is time to check.
When you are satisfied the system is healthy, consider reloading Windows 10.

Notes
If necessary, use a different computer to make the bootable installation media.
If your computer came with Windows 10 installed, the product key is embedded for that Windows 10 type. When asked for the Product Key, select "I don't have a product key" and W10 will install and activate using the internal key.
After Windows 10 is installed, update your HP Drivers.
Consider updating the BIOS manually, that is, download-save-install the update for the BIOS. Only update the BIOS when the computer is connected to AC power during the entire update process.
Other Updates...
If you intend to use the HP Support Assistant to update your software and drivers, the latest version of HPSA appropriate for your computer can be downloaded and installed from the HP Support Assistant website.
