Long story short bios seems corrupted from what I can tell, have tried reinstalling windows 10 and 11 fresh, gets stuck on the hp logo, even when running bootable drives freezes, but not as much. Windows Key + B works but says cannot find files or they are corrupt. Was able to get into Hirens Boot Loader and used the latest firmware available on the site F.19 Rev A and it lets me make a recovery usb but says I cant update the bios because its a later version which it is. my current bios revision is F.20, which apparently came through a Windows Update and since it is not available to me I cannot fix my device. Is there a way HP will give me the right firmware or no? If I have to get one of those things to manually flash the chip will that work or will it also be rejected since its an older version or does the manual intervention overcome that? Just want to know if I'm wasting my time hoping HP will give me a file for a product of theirs I purchased or if I can manually write over the F.20 Rev with a flasher clip thing or if it will be blocked since F.19 Rev A is older.
