HP Recommended
Probook 4540s
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I am trying to install windows 10 on my Laptop  Probook 4540s. After the installation, the laptop is just showing the "hp" logo and the SSD LED indicator is lightning up continuously. After 10 min of waiting, I am shutting down the machine.

My installation procedure was:

1. update BIOS (v.2019) successfully, Boot mode is set to UEFI Native (without CSM)

2. boot from USB: win10 64bit from "boot from EFI File" -> navigation to <USBDRIVE>\EFI\boot\bootx64.efi

3. clean win10 installation (all old partitions have been removed), windows setup creates three new partitions (system, MSR, primary)

After rebooting after installation, I am not able to boot windows, I have tried this three times. Same result. I think there is a problem with BIOS/UEFI configuration.

Did someone have similar problems and can provide a few advices or hints?

Thank you very much!
