It appears that you will need to install a new SSD and reinstall the operating system.

You can use the HP cloud recovery software with another PC and a 32 GB USB flash drive to reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

Then you can install a 512 GB NVMe SSD, or even a  1TB one if you want. 

 

The product number of your notebook indicates that it originally came with a 256 GB NVMe SSD.
