I'm facing some problems on my Windows 7, so I'm thinking about a clean install of Windows 10. I already have my HP recovery discs for Windows 7.

My question is: can I still use my Windows 7 recovery discs to restore my machine to its factory condition if I did a clean install of Windows 10?

Yes -- you can -- as the first thing the HP Recovery Media does is completely reformat the entire drive, essentially removing any OS currently installed.
