Microsoft Windows 11

I have brand new HP laptop (2 days old).  It came with Win 11 installed.  Before anything bad happens I want to create

a recovery flash drive. But I can't find the HP Recovery Manager let alone the Create Recovery Media selection.  All the

helps show how to run it on Win 10, but nothing for win 11.   Any help on where it is hiding would be much

appreciated.

Hi:

You should be able to use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

Here is an info link for how to use that utility...you will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media.

Paul,

Thanks for the help.  At least I could find that tool after you told me where to look. 🙂   I have to get a 32G flash drive

before I can try it.  I'll update this with how the story ends.  Thanks again.

You're very welcome.

Took a while, but I finally got my flash drive and made a recovery media.  At least it looks like it did.  There are files on there that

weren't there before so I assume it worked..  I don't want to boot up and try it because I don't want to mess up my system.

Thanks again for the help Paul.
