Pavilion 15 ab 153nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently had to perform a fresh install using HP install dvds. Prior to the Creator update for WIndows 10 I had a full menu for the HP Recovery Mannger which offered numerous options e.g. the new HP Recovery Mgr. under the Help offers only System Recovery and notc"Reinstall Dirvers and Software,  Windows System Reset, HP Recovery Enviroment ect. ect..Today I have a limited bare bones menu and options. Is there any reason why I cant have that full support menu ? I have searched and cant find the software anywhere and since it came preloaded I should be able to reload it ?? SInce having to perform the fresh install, I was forced to take only one route in restoring the system and wasnt afforded the option of at least trying other options. When time is valuable to us all so are the options we were once afforded.

Thanks !

Hello Cheryl,

Ok, so I have already went to the HP Support site and loaded the drivers I needed and of course I went thru the entire list given when this unit was purchased and the updated versions available. I loaded and installed the HP Reovery Mgr update and I am still at stage 1. Here are some pics to show what I had as far as options and this is what I have today.HP RMGR 02 16 18 3.JPGHP Past R MGR 1.JPGHP R MGR Other Options 2.JPG

This normally would not posse any issues but given the trouble I have had and wanting to take precationairy steps if I run into this again, I would like to have all bases covered.

Thanks !
