HP Laptop 15-bs0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone,

I'm new here. I need help with the HP Recovery Manager app, that I lost because of restoring my laptop to an older version of Windows (Windows 7 Ultimate). My laptop's keyboard is faulty, and certain keys have stopped working. I read online that it might have been a driver-related issue, and that restoring was going to be just fine. However, it didn't work, and my keyboard is still not working.

On the one hand, does anybody know if there is a possible solution to fix this? I've tried almost everything (reinstalling, updating and downloading third-party software), but none of it worked.

On the other hand, some days ago I decided to restore my laptop to factory settings, using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool. Everything went fine, but I noticed I didn't have HP Recovery Manager. My Recovery partition is there (with another name) and has certain files in it (including a .flg and a folder named "Recovery"), but I can't find a direct link to get the software.

Thanks in advance.

Just install Windows 10 again.

Not sure why you are messing around with Windows 7.

I have already reinstalled, more than once. The last time I did it I used the HP Cloud Recovery Tool, and it installed every app except the Recovery Manager one.

Recovery Manager is pointless .

You should be making image backups of the hard drive.

Thank you, but in my opinion it's not pointless. I've used it more than once on many new computers and it's great for finding the drivers you are missing; so I really need it.

Please help me if you know anything!

I don't see the point.

You clearly do not understand the usefulness of having an image backup of the hard drive and choose to do things the hard way.

At that time I couldn’t do a drive backup, and all the installations of Windows 10 never created a recovery drive.

I need help to get the program please! Anybody!?

Hi! I still haven't found a solution and HP Support won't answer. Can anybody help me?

I just need the software, any version is okay.
