Product: hp stream 14

I plug my laptop in and in shows an orange light next to the charging port, then goes white. when I attempt to start it up it goes back to orange and does not turn on at all.  Even with the cord still plugged in it does not turn on.

I even bought a new cord, and the same thing happens. Please help it has all of my work documents.
