Product: HP Slate 7 Plus 4200eg Tablet

My tablet stopped loading, the only thing that helped was a system reset. Now loading is ok, but I have ANDROID 4.2.2 and the system thinks it is the latest version. Many websites and are not available due to missing SSL. HPs Support page offers Windows for this phone, this would be better for me. How do I get a halfway up-to-date system on my tablet?

That's right, it could be a 6 or 7 years old now and it won't support higher version of Android. HP stopped produce and support it at least 5 years ago.

Many Thanks. It's a shame that hp devices are so short-lived. I just wanted to control a model building system via MODBUS. No problem for the CPU, but these browsers are just too old for that.
