HP Spectre 360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have charging issues with my HP Spectre 360 laptop,would only charge to 33% so thought battery was US so replaced with genuine HP new battery but still only charges to 30%.It tells me its plugged in but is not charging.Can anyone help with soloution please.

I understand that laptop charging issue.

 

In that case, please perform the battery test and check.

 

1. Power off the PC and make sure that it is completely powered off.

2. Press the power button and the moment you press the power button immediately start tapping F2 key, you should see the system diagnostics screen.

3. Look for the component test, under that all the hardware will be listed, please choose Battery and initiate the quick test.

Note: If it fails it will generate a 24 digits alphanumeric failure id, please capture that.

 

If the test is passed, please perform the below steps.

 

Please uninstall the ACPI drivers 

Right-Click on start button> click device manager> Batteries>then select the s drivers and right-click on it and uninstall all battery drivers. 

Then restart the computer and check again.

Please update the BIOS.

Thankyou for message unfortunately still the same,i have tried this before with no luck.

I can pliug in power supply and shows charging for a few moments then says plugged in(not charging).The charge led flashes white.and continues to flash white when shut down,the only way i can stop the led flashing is to press and hold power button and then plug power supply in then orange led lights until reaches 30% and then flashes white again.

Have you tried to charge with a different adapter?

 

Please perform the battery and adapter test and check.

Hi Have tried this and this come as failure code QBSBPS-9R6A5F-MFPWMF-COAEO3.Have not tried a different adaptor have ordered a new one to see if this works.

In that case, I would suggets you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

2)Select the product type.

 

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

 

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

 

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
