My Spectre no longer recognizes my external monitor. It was working fine and then one day just stopped. I have tried Best Buy Geek Squad, and UBreakIFix. No one has been able to help. One place told me it was hardware. The other place said the hardware was fine and it was software. But neither was able to find the software fix. Please help as I do not want to purchase a new laptop. TIA!

Unfortunately, that did not work. Any other ideas? Has anyone else had this issue and it been resolved? I have had several different technicians try to fix this with no success. All drivers have been updated, as well.
