Product: hp spectre folio 13t-ak000 cto
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
After the most recent Windows 11 update, Bluetooth on this computer stopped working. The computer refuses to report that it has Bluetooth, so no controls are visible. Given the proximity to the Windows 11 update, I am assuming that it is a software conflict rather than a hardware failure. The latest manufacturer's updates are for Windows 10 only.
The following steps were taken, to no avail:
- Airplane mode was turned on and off.
- A corrupted device driver, suspected as being the misinterpreted Bluetooth driver, was removed and the computer was rebooted to force a reinstallation.
- All Windows and HP updates were installed, including a BIOS update.
- System File Checker repaired the OS.
- The network drivers were downloaded and reinstalled on the system.
- The Bluetooth troubleshooter was run but no Bluetooth hardware was detected.
I have considered looking for the component manufacturer's Bluetooth drivers, if any, but I can't figure out the manufacturer. Any suggestions would be welcome.
