HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-bl0XX

I wish i never bought this laptop, it is ruining my life.  It hasn't charged correctly for over a year now, at first i thought the issue was the charger broke, but then it refused to charge at all.  I sent the computer to HP for support and they were able to fix the problem by just removing the battery(which of course I had to pay then for).So now I just have to find a USB-c charger to replace the one that broke right? easy, right? WRONG.

Not only is the HP 90W USB C charger extremely expensive, but it is sold out 100% of the time I check the HP web-store.  OK so ill just order an off brand one off amazon, right? Wrong,  none of the amazon chargers I have ordered have ever worked.  So after months of not having a working laptop, my dad buys me an off market mac charger.  Somehow this charger actually worked (for a short time) but every-time I used it, it emitted a loud electrical hum.  I was OK with that, but of course the charger stopped working after about 3 months.  Since that has happened, I've been able to charge my computer using my roommate's Mac book air USB C charger, but only when the screen is closed.  The battery immediately stops charging as soon as I open the computer.  I figured that was due to the different power requirements of my machine, this was enforced by the fact I could charge my computer while using it with my fathers Mac Book Pro USB C charger.

So ok, I guess that's the charger I need, right? His was an off brand model, so I just ordered a similar one off Amazon.  The charger arrived today and of course it does not work at all!  Now I am waiting for my computer to charge enough with my roommates charger so that I can attempt to update the BIOs and see if that helps.

so if you're reading this HP, can you please explain why my computer doesn't charge? also why do some chargers work while others, do nothing? why does the air charger only work when the laptop is closed and why do some off brand chargers work while others dont?  What is wrong with Spectre power system? is there hope? any information would be helpful

at this point I can only say that buying this computer was one of the worst mistakes of my life.  I should have listened to my father who wanted me to get a mac.  Take it from me kids, HP's may be cheaper, but their company structure is too large to care about their customers.  All they care about is finding new ways to take your money.

If you tell me to buy the HP Spectre charger, ITS SOLD OUT and HP can have $120 over my dead body

I have the same struggle.  If you want people to swear off your brand forever, let these problems persist.
