Hi:
The parts list for your notebook indicates that it came with a 512 GB M.2 SATA SSD.
Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that HP did not offer M.2 SSD's in a larger storage capacity than 512 GB.
The only reference I could find is the Crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook which indicates that they do offer compatible drives up to 2 TB for your notebook.

The service manual indicates that both SATA and NVMe SSD's are supported.
