Hello everyone, 

 

I updated my HP Spectre x360 device to Windows 11 when prompted to do so. Following the update my screen began to flicker - showing a black screen whenever I used my touchpad. I attempted to fix this problem by upgrading the device and it's display drivers. The device is completely up to date but the flickering persists. I found that "repairing" Microsoft Visual C++ temporarily stops the issue for a few hours but the problem always returns. I contacted Microsoft for support but they informed me that there are NO drivers for Windows 11 that are compatible with my device at this time. It is now past the 10 day deadline to rollback to Windows 10. What can I do to make my PC useable again?

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

(1) Purely a safety measure

Backup <all> personal data (documents/pictures/videos etc...) to external <USB hard drive>

 

(2) Downgrade from Windows 11 to Windows 10
