Product: HP Spectre x360
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Everytime I open Illustrator my laptop will freeze and shut down. I will have to wait for it to resll do the same thing. This happens regardless of tablet mode or not.

Sorry for your troubles but we have no resources or information available to debug issues with specific applications.

 

Your best bet is to check the Adobe Support forums to see what they recommend.  They may have an updated version or a patch that you could apply.
