@Rick-S, I need to report fraud Rep Jeff, he's just now messaging after I had already sent him the info weeks ago! How do I report ASAP??? In private messages, the notice at the top says to click on the report button but I don't see one in the thread???

I think I just fixed the problem. I have the hp spectre 360 2018 15 inch sealed battery and my laptop was stuck with the same thing. Screen was black with the caps light blinking. What I did was this:

1) make sure laptop is completely turned off.

2) hold the power button while repeatedly pressing the escape key.

After that my laptop turned on.

Hope this works out.

@Mrbarajas23

Thanks for your suggestion but that didn't help. In fact, this time in attempting to turn it on, the power button white light didn't blink at all. This is rediculous that a $1300 laptop would stop working after owning it 2-3 yrs! Never been misused, always carried in a padded case, etc.

Fantastic.  I just solved it from your advice.  Held on power button, then pressed escape about 20-30 times. Then pressed the power button again and voila.

I had seen unresolved complaints online about this and feared the worse.

Thank you so much Mrbarajas
