This laptop has no other applications on it other than the operating system. I just tried installing google chrome but there was not enough disk space. I have tried performing a system reset but it says I still need to make room for an extra 4gb of storage in order to carry out the system reset.
I bought this laptop last year and the warranty ended in late October. It has now become completely unusable as I can't install any other software or even any Windows updates. It's basically had a life span of under a year as I've hardly been able to use it. You've made a laptop that has less storage than most modern smartphones which is also not upgradable and I can't do anything with it.
Could I be provided with a bootable USB Windows installer so I can try that as a last resort?

Even though you've not installed stuff yourself, since this PC is running Win10, it has been doing Windows Updates all along, and every time it does those, it takes up more disk space and it does not free that up when it is done.
However, here are some things you can do to recover some of the "disk" space:

Also, the community Win10 Forums has the following suggestions:

As to the Win10 USB installer, you will probably have to use another PC (as MS will need the space to download the files to create the USB stick), but you can do that from this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
