No boot device when trying to load windows.
Created a boot CD of windows 10 using the media creation tool but after trying to boot from it after a few minutes of spinning wheel I get DRIVER PNP WATCHDOG blue screen and reboots.
I have tried the HP cloud boot as well which also fails.
I tried Windows 8 bootable usb just to see and got as far as choosing the location of Windows. This notebook has 32gbb of emmc, which could be seen, but when I tried to write a new file system on it, it gave me an error, which leads me to believe its an issue with this emmc storage, and as its not removable or expanable it may not be recoverable?
Is there any other way to resolve this?
Had been talking with HP customer service on messenger but they stopped replying and it's been over two days now and still nothing back.
Any pointers or help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

You've done a lot of your own work to recover and everything you have discovered is correct. The EMMc stick is soldered to the system board and is not removable. You might be able to get a laptop service facility to do that, but it would cost you and there is no guarantee they would not damage the laptop in the process.
And unfortunately, the HP disk diagnostics do not work well on EMMc "drives" so the info it gives you may not be reliable even if you can get it to run.

Thanks for your help.
Yeah well the laptop still has 3 weeks warranty left on it so I will have to get it repaired under warranty.
I was hoping not to have to send it in as it will mostly likely be gone for weeks but it looks like it's the only option.

Yeah -- I understand. You should use the link below to see if you can find a local service facility and contact them to make the arrangements and see if you can get a time estimate from them:
Since you live outside the U.S., here is a link to HP Service Centers, by Country/Region: https://support.hp.com/us-en/service-center
If that link does not provide you sufficient information, then use the main HP link:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
I've found those links to be unreliable if you're using Win10 and the new Edge Browser; so if you are, you need to use something else, like FireFox.
Good Luck
