Putting a password on the BIOS is a major hurdle.

You won't be able to re-install Windows 10.

Ask for reimbursement for the laptop.

There ARE ways to bypass BIOS passwords -- we are just prohibited by forum policy for telling you those details.

If you take the laptop to a local laptop repair facility, they should be able to both reset the BIOS password and the Windows admin password.  It will cost you something, to be sure, but that is a lot less than buying a new machine.
