I have an HP Stream 14, cb112 wm.
It uses a B103XL battery. The first time, it says battery not detected. I open it, the battery is swollen. I order an Amazon replacement and pop it in. Works great for about 6 months.
It starts saying "plugged in, not charging." I determined the charger was 3.19 amps instead of the 2.31 amps the laptop is rated for. Voltage is correct though. I order a new charger and another Amazon battery.
The new battery says "battery not detected." If I put the prior battery in, it says "plugged in, not charging."
I suspect the cheap batteries are to blame but I don't know how to test the batteries or the multiple pins of the laptop battery cable.
Advice?
