Hello, I have an HP Stream Notebook that I purchased in 2016. I tried to do a factory reset on the notebook. It gave gave a message that the reset had failed. It gave me an option to return to Windows but windows is no longer there. How do I go about fixing this problem? HAs this happened to anyone? It is kind of a pain.

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to clean install W10 by making bootable installation media using the media creation tool from the link below. You want the 64 bit installation media.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
When you get to the screen that asks 'Where do you want to install Windows,' delete every partition on the hard drive leaving just one partition of unallocated space.
Click Next, and W10 should install.
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
