HP Stream Laptop PC 11.6" Intel N4000 DDR4 won't allow windows 10 updates lack of HD space

HP Stream Laptop PC 11.6" Intel N4000 DDR4 SDRAM 32GB eMMC won't allow windows 10 update getting lack of disk space error.  Update wont allow thumb drive or micros sd card.  I have deleted everything possible to make the disk space available but keep getting lack of space available on drive.  When this first occurred, I removed programs to accommodate for disk space request, but than would recalculate and stil say wanted more space.  So I created more space, and same thing, get the error asking for more space.  This i a long time problem and hoping someone can solve just bought this unit less than a year ago.
