HP Stream Notebook - 11-d015na (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My HP Stream Notebook - 11-d015na does not seem to be available for HP Cloud Restore as I cannot find the model in the list.  My trackpad doesn't work in windows but it works fine in the BIOS.  I need to recover this back to factory but don't have the software and the recover partition is gone.  Anyone know where I can download this recovery please? Thanks 🙂

Hi,

You could try reinstalling the Driver for the touchpad

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-stream-11-d000-notebook-pc/7372144/mod...

or uninstalling the driver (from device manager) and then let Windows reinstall.

The best idea would probably be to reinstall the OS. perform a clean install and then Let Windows update the machine. After installation go into settings and update all optional updates (which will be the drivers)

You can create a bootable USB drive with the OS on it from Microsoft

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

During installation choose custom install and delete all partitions. Install in unallocated space. (You will loose all personal data)

Hope it helps,

David

Thanks David, I've tried the Add and remove from device Manager and re-installing drivers with no luck.  I will go try the fresh copy of windows thanks and will update - Great help thanks 🙂

unfortunately this hasn't worked for me.  All drivers are up to date but there is an unknown driver so I think this must be it.  I tried updating the synaptics driver with no luck.  OS doesn't see it yet the BIOS does.  The BIOS has been updated too.
