Turned it on and the display is of a cracked screen although my actual screen isn't damaged. Can't get passed that display
I have gone through your Post and I understand your concerns
Please check in BIOS and let me know how it goes
Shut down the notebook and upon restarting keep tapping on F10 till you see System Configuration Menu ( BIOS )
If you those cracks in the BIOS, please contact HP Support for Service Options
Click on this link -www.hp.com/contacthp/ and select your Country to get the Contact details for HP Support
