WIth my notebook i got HP Support Assistant. At first it did show driver updates and allowed me to execute them, but it rarely shows that there are updates.
I constantly receive email notifications on driver updates (usualy security fixes) but not via HP Support Assistant. So if I want to apply update I have to search for update file, download and execute it manually.
Any hints how to do this with AP Support Assistant. Reinstalation did not help.

Assuming the machine is the same as used for your previous threads in this Community.
Considerations
- Not all HP Alerts are immediately updated to the machine's Software and Driver list.
OR
- The list in your computer's Software and Driver Website might provide newer versions of the recommended software / drivers found in an Alert / Advisory.
- HP Support Assistant cannot find / install software and drivers for which at least one version of that software is already installed. In other words, HP Support Assistant is an "update" program and does not seek out uninstalled software for your computer.
Rather than depend on the HP Support Assistant (HPSA), consider using the Softpaq Download Manager for your business class computer. The update / installation service provided by SDM is superior to that of the HPSA.
Caveat:
It is necessary (at least strongly recommended) that any Alert / Advisory be read first to determine the scope of the alert and whether any recommended software / driver updates are newer than the drivers available in your Software and Driver Website and / or those packages recommended by SDM.

You are welcome.
There is no magic answer, after all.
SDM does a credible job of managing HP software and drivers for business class systems.
HPSA is a consumer grade tool provided for those people who need (or prefer) an "auto" install option.
