HP Recommended

Having the same issue on two of my three of my HP computers. Both are beyond warrenty (one is 8 years old, the other is only 5 months past warranty date). In both cases, the HPSA starts to "Download messages and updates" and just keeps spinning. I followed all the directions and uninstalled and re-installed, ran updates, turned of AV, etc., same problem. Last time I let it run for 40 minutes and it never stops spinning. The version on my newest HP (which was the older version 8.2.8.25) ran slowly, but did complete. I am inclinded to just uninstall this since there have been no new drivers of the laptop in about a year - even though there are power issues with the device that clearly are related to bad drivers and Win10. 

 

I've basically given up on HP compters after owning about 10 over the past 20 years. I'm in the IT business and no longer recommend HP computers, only the printers. Very sad, this used to be a great company with great products.
