After a disk cleanup they're gone. They're not included in sp79977.exe, it seems. Where can I get them?

I said software drivers because that is the page it is on. I believe that even if I called it drivers I provided the correct HP tools you were looking for?
I have been thinking about your problem and since you did not get an error message it is difficult for me to figure out why it is not working. So, HP diagnostics is not working on your system? You say 6th partition, How many partitions do you have on your primary drive? It might be difficult for the installer to create a partition if there are already four or more partitions.
Try this link and see if this installer works better. It seems the same however I see that the package has a different SPxxxx code.
Let me know,
David

Hi,
This should be the software driver you are looking for:
When installing if prompted install on hard drive.
Hope it helps,
David

Thanks a lot! This seemed to be the right thing. After following all the prompts, however, I find that there is nothing new on my disk, neither viewed through disk management nor a partitioning tool. Where did I go wrong?

Did you see that your response didn't get me there? Also, I don't quite understand why you mentioned 'drivers', while I clearly said that my query was about HP TOOLS - thus the diagnostic wizardry in the 6th partition (if there is a D partition)?

Thanks. After contracting a virus yesterday, I had to use an image to get me going again. Ie an image prior to the installation of sp80223.exe
So I could try again blank, with sp80721.exe this time, but at 1st glance, the result seems to be the same. See attachments: It used to be the 6th partition (relating to Minitool partitioner). And the computer was off after the installation.
But: Following your advice trying to access HP tools (which I had to find on the internet, not my daily business: F2 on boot), I discovered that they're still there. They're also on my identic machine (that serves as a reserve), however in an older (?) version looking quite different. So I assume that after making the next image and imposing it on the 2nd machine, it too will look likewise.
Seen from here, we could close it off this time. And if I against expectation should need help again, I know where to find you .)
