Product: Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 (599K0AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Hey everyone,
My HP Victus 15-fa0000 touchpad stopped working after a BIOS update, and I’m stuck. Here’s what I’ve tried:
- Reinstalled touchpad drivers from HP’s site.
- Uninstalled/reinstalled I2C HID and HID drivers.
- Reinstalled all drivers from HP website still issue persist
- Exclamation mark on I2C HID, "Elan drivers" is missing.
- Unchecked "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" under HID devices.
- Tried downgrading the BIOS to F.22 Rev.A, but it won’t let me, even though I can update to the latest version (F.28 Rev.A) from USB.
Any advice on fixing this or downgrading the BIOS? I’m out of ideas. Thanks in advance!
