Hey Nal_NR,
thank you for informing me about that. Below you can see the translation of my issue.

Hello, my HP Victus 15 suddenly experienced a black screen while it was running, although the laptop itself was still powered on. I then tried to shut it down or restart it using the power button.

Since then, the laptop no longer starts. When I press the power button, the fans do not turn on and the screen remains completely black. Both the LED next to the charging port and the power LED on the keyboard light up for about 5 seconds, then briefly turn off, and light up again for another 5 seconds. This behavior keeps repeating.

I have already performed a power reset, but unfortunately that did not help.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this or what else I could try?

Hi  @Tarko

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thank you for reaching out. I understand that your HP Victus 15 was working normally and then suddenly displayed a black screen before becoming unable to start. I appreciate the troubleshooting you have already completed, including performing a power reset.

To assist you further, could you kindly provide the following details?

  • Was the AC adapter connected when the issue occurred?
  • Do you notice any blinking LED patterns (Caps Lock, Num Lock, charging LED, or power button LED)?
  • Have there been any hardware changes before the issue started?
  • Does the charging LED remain solid when the adapter is connected?

In the meantime, kindly try the below steps and confirm :

1. Perform a Hard Reset - Click here for  steps

  1. Disconnect the AC adapter.
  2. Remove any connected USB devices, external monitors, or accessories.
  3. Press and hold the Power button for 15-20 seconds.
  4. Reconnect only the AC adapter.
  5. Attempt to power on the notebook.

2. Test with a Different Power Source

  • Verify that the AC adapter is firmly connected at both ends.
  • If available, test with a compatible HP power adapter.
  • Observe whether the charging LED remains steady or changes behavior.

3. Attempt BIOS Recovery - Click here for steps

  1. Turn off the notebook completely.
  2. Hold the Windows + B keys.
  3. While holding those keys, press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds, then release only the Power button.
  4. Continue holding Windows + B for up to 40 seconds.
  5. Check whether the BIOS recovery screen appears.

4.  Since the power and charging LEDs illuminate for approximately 5 seconds and then repeat in a cycle, observe whether:

  • The fan spins briefly during each cycle.
  • Any keyboard backlighting appears.
  • The Caps Lock key responds when pressed.

These observations can help identify whether the issue is related to power delivery, the system board, memory, or BIOS corruption.

I hope this helps.
