Suddenly two boxes with HP Wireless Assistant have started popping up on screen after pc has been tuned on for a few minutes. I cannot do anything in these boxes, only "x" them out. Can i unstall this program? My internet, wireless, is functioning fine.

As I understand, HP Wireless Assistant is popping on the screen.

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you,

 

Please follow these steps to disable HP Wireless Assistant (This will not affect your Wireless connectivity):

  1. Right-click on Taskbar.
  2. Select Task Manager
  3. Right-click on HP Wireless Assistant (you do not want to start with Windows) and click Disable in the lower right corner.

This should resolve the issue.
