Hi all,

 

The past two weeks I have been having problems with my laptop, as it unexpectedly shuts down. While working, without warning, the screen will turn black and the fans will start spinning like crazy. This has also happened just after I restarted my laptop, so shouldnt be an overheating issue.

The problem @PS_97 describes is the exact same problem I'm having, so please read that post for details. I've tried everything in the thread, with similar results.

 

Sadly @PS_97 never posted an update, so I hoped that by staring a new thread maybe I could get some clarity. Does somebody know how to fix the problems described? What could be the cause of the problem (software/hardware)? Is there a way for me to contact @PS_97 via the HP Support Community? Im new here so not sure whether that is an option, it doenst look like it.

 

Hope someone can help 🙂
