Could you please help me with finding the driver for the HP Elitebook 840 G1?

Could you please send me the weblink for this driver download.

I have tried suggested drivers for the card reader. The installer says it completed normally, but still I have PCI Serial Port and Communications Controller with drivers not installed, plus three unknown devices. All other aspects of device manager look good.

One of the unknown devices probably needs this driver...

If you post the hardware ID's for the other 2 unknown devices after you install the above drivers, I will post the links to those too.

 

To find the hardware ID, click on the unknown device.

 

Then click on the Details tab at the top of the unknown device window.

 

Now you should see a Property drop down list and it will be set on Device Description.

 

Drop down on that list and select the 2nd item (hardware ID's).

 

Post the top string of characters that you see in the window.
