Brand new HP laptop 14. Unable to get anything to work properly. Walked through set up . Connected to internet. Came with Edge. Click on things extremely slow to respond and does not open. Checked connections. This should not be working so poorly. Unable to use at this point. Took over 20 minutes to get the settings to open up. My husband is trying to do a factory reset at this moment. Very disappointed so far thinking I just wasted my money. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem laptop 14.

I don't know why folks think a Factory Reset is a Miracle Cure for anything that ails a PC -- because if there are any hardware issues, that reset will invariably fail, leaving you with a nonworking computer.
MS has configured Edge to PREVENT you from doing lots of things that are routinely done -- like downloading apps and videos. I have it on my primary desktop but rarely use it.
As an alternative, try downloading and installing Firefox. If that has the same very-slow-operating issues then report back with that, as there is then some serious issue with your laptop.
