Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My la[top hard drive died.  I have an older HP laptop that works and has a I5 processor like the new one.  Can I put the old hard drive in the newer laptop without losing any information from the older hard drive?

Are they on a same series ? Depending on the situation of your HDD, the best option is to use death HDD as an external HDD and you can recover your files/data from there.
