My HP laptop drained fully and after few hours we tried to recharge and switch ON. It is dead, no thing is happening what are the procedures to recover

Some laptops simply will not start if the battery is dead, even with a charger connected -- so there is no way that you can run diagnostics to check out the problems.

 

The only thing YOU can do is replace the battery and see if it then boots.  If it does, there are links we can provide to battery and charger checking -- but the laptop needs to be able to boot into Windows to run those.

Thanks. Is there any way to trigger the battery to recharge? Also can I get the link for buying the HP genuine spares.

Finally the laptop started charging after 3 days of continuous charging. It is working fine now
