@Swathi1002, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Laptop Not Turning On!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP laptop is experiencing issues turning on, with symptoms like a blank screen, power button blinking, and fan sound, you can follow these troubleshooting steps to identify and potentially resolve the problem.

Step 1: Perform a Hard Reset

Sometimes, a hard reset can resolve startup issues by draining residual electrical charge.

  1. Turn off the computer.
  2. Disconnect the AC adapter.
  3. Remove memory cards from the card reader slot.
  4. Disconnect all nonessential devices (printers, scanners, external hard drives, USB flash drives).
    • Note: Do not disconnect the mouse, keyboard, or monitor.
  5. With the AC adapter unplugged, press and hold the power button for approximately 20 seconds.
  6. Reconnect the AC adapter, and then turn on the computer using the power button.

Step 2: Check for Hardware Failures

  1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
  2. Turn on the computer and immediately press esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the f2 key.
  3. On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.
  4. Run the Fast Test:
    • Click Fast Test > Run once.

Let me know how it goes!

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
