Hi

Recently, I have installed window 10 from window 7, and started getting error messages during start up says; The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation can’t proceed. To install windows, click OK to restart the computer, and then restart the installation. 

I press ok to restart but getting the same message every time. I am not sure what went wrong. Could you please help me with it?

Welcome !

 

Based on your description, I can conclude that the W7 to W10 upgrade has not completed successfully or some subsequent update has failed to install. Therefore, now you do not have a working OS.

 

You will need to reinstall Windows and perform fresh clean installation to resolve the issue.

 

  • Check the attached instructions (PDF file) below and follow the steps. Take your time and prepare - it may take a while. You will need another PC to prepare for it.
