I got a battery for my laptop a couple months ago and it worked fine back then but recently my laptop doesn’t get charged beyond like 54% even if I keep it plugged in over night.

I’ve tried solving this issue through YouTube but still no avail. Help would be appreciated.

Hello, I finally looked into this post again and thanks for replying. I don't think there's anything wrong with my hardware because I just replaced this battery a couple months ago and everything was working fine. However very recently, my laptop charger adapter is slihtly bent the wrong way. It still "charges" when I plug it in but as I mentioned in my post, it doesnt charge past 50%. (now its more like 41%). I think i should just buy a new charger. What do you think?

A bent connector can be unreliable and disconnect frequently while in use.  If that happens, the battery would take a LONG time to charge because of the frequent disconnections, but it would not limit the amount of the charge, just take longer.

If the charge amount is limited, that points to the battery -- but it's pretty new to have this kind of issue.  I would expect this charging limit issue with one several years old, not several months.

All the charger does is supply power to the laptop charging circuit, it does not actually do the charging.  This sounds like the charging circuit in the laptop has gone bad.
