Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop won't execute a start-up. Once I turn on the laptop, the Advanced Startup page appears. And from there it seems that resetting is my only option forward. So I clicked OK and proceeded to back-up my files on an external hard disk. And then this error code shows: =FFFFFF16. What is that? Where is it coming from

I tried to do a "Startup Repair" on there - it tells me they ran into a problem and can't repair it. So I clicked "Uninstall latest quality update" and then "Uninstall latest feature update", then tried "Startup Repair" again. Nope still can't repair it. Then I went to try to back up my files again but the same error code pops up.

I see a lot of FFFFFF15 error issues on here, but not 16. Which makes me worried if it is an even severe/rare problem. Anyone has any idea where I should go from here

A kind thanks in advance.

The Error code FFFFFF15 is an issue with the HP Recovery Manager, which has failed while users were trying to restore their back up. This error, is also caused because of virus issues, corrupt file problems and due to hardware issues which defines problems in start-up phase. To fix the error, you can try the below troubleshoot methods:

  1. Entering your details
  2. Restart the computer device
