Hello there I can't perform a system recovery I can open recovery manager by searching for recovery in the start menu but I can't perform one I have the partition but it just does not defect the partition and I can't boot from f11 all help would be appreciated

IF your PC really did come with Vista, as you claim, then this issue is almost certainly one of the original hard drive failing.
To check the drive you have to follow these steps:
1) Press Esc key repeatedly, several times a second, while rebooting the laptop. Do NOT hold the key down, just press it over and over.
2) Eventually, you will see an HP Startup Menu
3) Press the Function key for testing the hard drive (usually F2) and let it run.
