I am tryong to create a recovery USB using The HP Cloud Recovery tool, but it does not recognize my all-in-one PC when I enter the product No. P2N42AV#ABA. (I get the message that the product id. My system runs Windows 10.
It also does not recognize the serial number if I use it instead of the product No.
Any explanation why this would not work and if it is not supported how would I get the drivers for this PC which is pretty old?
Thanks!

Hi:
Yes, the reason the HP cloud recovery tool does not work for your PC is because according to the specs, your PC was released to market in 2015 and the cloud recovery tool only supports PC's made in 2016 and later.

Thanks very much for your quick response.
I just purchased a new SSD drive.
And then installed the Windows media creation tool on a flash drive.
Is it easier to a) install the device drivers onto the flash drive or b) load windows onto the SSD drive and then load the device drivers?
Thanks very much. I appreciate it.

You're very welcome.
W10 will automatically install most of the drivers you need, so it would be easier for you to install W10, let it do the updates and automatic driver updates and then if you still need drivers, then you can install them from the support page.
W10 should install the wireless and ethernet drivers.
That will save you the time manually downloading and installing the individual drivers from the support page and putting them on a USB flash drive.
