Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Hard Reset: Disconnect all external devices, unplug the AC adapter, and then remove the battery. Hold the power button down for 15 seconds, then release it. Reattach the battery, plug in the AC adapter and press the power button to turn on the laptop.

  2. Remove the battery and AC adapter: Hold the power button down for 60 seconds, then release it. Reattach the battery and AC adapter, and press the power button to turn on the laptop.

  3. Run System Diagnostics: If the laptop still won't turn on, run the HP System Diagnostics tool. This will help you identify the root cause of the issue.

  4. Boot in Safe Mode: If the laptop is able to boot, try booting in safe mode. In safe mode, Windows loads with a minimal set of drivers and services.

  5. Factory Reset: If none of the above steps work, you may have to factory reset your laptop. This will erase all data and restore the system to its original state.

Note: If the laptop is protected by a BIOS/UEFI password or power-on password, contact HP Support for assistance.
